2007-09-05 - 9:25 p.m. kawrnfest & such Early October I go to Vegas for a wedding. Don't think it's my cup of tea but I think it's someplace I should go at least once. A friend from high school lives out there & I hope to see her. She has a 10- or 11-year-old kid. Insane. 2 days before that I think I'm taking a business trip. My first one! Sadly, it's basically the last place in the ENTIRE US I'd like to go. Ft. Lauderdale & Orlando. It's to see clients with a salesperson & I actually like these clowns so I should be fun (free) times. I've made an effort to be awesome at my job, a chore I was resisting out of spite. But I've been in this posish for a year now (exactly today) and it is mostly a suck but I can make it work. And I deserve a free expensive trip somewhere with sun & dranks. I make these clowns shittons so there you have it. Being back with the #1 Homeskillet is tops. Best summer ever. Camping, softball (wait til you see my card), great parties, learning to cook, and more camping have occupied nearly every non-work moment. Never been happier. He's tops. We're tops. Next week Kate, my New Zealand pal, visits & we go to Cornfest. I participate, and hopefully win, the corn eating contest. She says she's doing the milk chug. YOU CAN DIE FROM THAT SHIZ.
